Products
We build and repair transformers across the 11 kV to 66 kV range, and have specialised in that same band since 1988. Enquiries outside it are better placed with a manufacturer who works there routinely.
Duty, more than size. A distribution transformer feeds a mixed load at the end of the network and spends most of its life lightly loaded, so no-load loss dominates its economics. A power transformer sits between voltage levels at a substation or plant intake, runs closer to its rating for longer, and is specified around load loss, impedance and short-circuit withstand.
Yes. Because the design and winding happen at our own works rather than being assembled from bought-in parts, a non-standard rating, ratio or vector group is a design decision rather than a supply problem. Like-for-like replacements for units whose original manufacturer no longer exists are a common request — a photograph of the rating plate usually carries everything needed to quote.

Services
Yes, and it is a substantial part of what we do. Repair, rewinding, onsite maintenance and oil filtration are all offered on units of any make within the 11 kV to 66 kV range. We need the rating plate data and a description of the fault.
It depends on what failed, not on how old the unit is. Winding faults, bushing failures, tank leaks and tap changer problems are routinely repairable, and a rewind typically costs well below a replacement while restoring the original rating. Core damage is the main case where replacement is genuinely the better answer. Get it diagnosed before deciding.
We work throughout South Gujarat from GIDC Sachin — Surat, Hazira, Ankleshwar, Bharuch, Vapi, Valsad and Navsari — and travel further within Gujarat, including Vadodara and Ahmedabad, for larger jobs.
Insulating oil is part of the insulation system, not just a coolant. It takes on moisture and particulates over time, its dielectric strength falls, and eventually it stops being insulation and becomes a fault path. Filtration removes the moisture and particulates onsite and restores dielectric strength — it is the cheapest life-extension available on any transformer, and it is measured before and after so you can see what it achieved.

Ordering & Delivery
For a new unit: rating, voltage ratio, vector group, tapping range, required impedance, cooling type and quantity, plus the delivery location and any transport or crane restriction on site. For a repair: the rating plate details and what happened when it failed. A clear photograph of the rating plate usually covers most of it.

Technical & Certification
We hold a BIS licence to IS : 1180 under CML No. 7200106894, which permits the ISI mark on distribution transformers manufactured under it. A BIS licence is granted against an audited manufacturing process and an independently tested product, and it can be withdrawn — which is why the processes it covers are kept in-house rather than sub-contracted.
It certifies the quality management system — that processes are defined, records are kept, and non-conformities are handled through a documented route rather than informally. It is a statement about consistency of process, not about the electrical performance of any individual transformer. The routine test certificate is what speaks to that.
Routine tests on every unit: turns ratio, winding resistance, insulation resistance, no-load loss and current, and load loss and impedance. Type tests such as impulse withstand and temperature rise are arranged separately where a specification calls for them. Witnessed testing can be scheduled if you tell us at order stage.
It depends on duty and environment rather than a fixed calendar. As a general position: visual checks and oil level monthly, a fuller inspection with an oil sample annually, and thermal imaging under load once a year. Then let the first year of results set the real interval — a unit whose oil BDV is stable year on year needs less attention than one where it is trending down.
